We’re riding across the country to get you involved—yes you! We believe that environmental causes need to reach people on a personal level. Join the Cycle isn’t asking for money, we’re asking for action.

Think about the routes you travel every day, every week, and on the weekends. How do you get from point A to point B?

Now imagine riding your bicycle on those routes. Can you ride to work? To school? To visit with friends and neighbors? By replacing all or a portion of your weekly car travel with bicycle, you’re saving yourself fuel, and reducing the amount of pollution entering your corner of this fragile earth. Every mile counts, and by riding you set an example for others, as well as opening yourself to new opportunities.

If you already travel by bicycle regularly, excellent! Sign the pledge to show us that you’re already hard at work.

I pledge to ride my bike as much as possible and to stop making errands in the car that could be made on the bike. I plan to change my work time to be able to commute with others more and to do everything I can to increase awareness and encourage others to bike.

I pledge to bike to work (5 miles each way) every day that it is not raining during the spring/summer/fall, unless i have to go elsewhere after work that prevents it. I do take the T on other days it rains and don't even own a car!, so no fuel for me that wouldn't be used anyways!
