We’re riding across the country to get you involved—yes you! We believe that environmental causes need to reach people on a personal level. Join the Cycle isn’t asking for money, we’re asking for action.

Think about the routes you travel every day, every week, and on the weekends. How do you get from point A to point B?

Now imagine riding your bicycle on those routes. Can you ride to work? To school? To visit with friends and neighbors? By replacing all or a portion of your weekly car travel with bicycle, you’re saving yourself fuel, and reducing the amount of pollution entering your corner of this fragile earth. Every mile counts, and by riding you set an example for others, as well as opening yourself to new opportunities.

If you already travel by bicycle regularly, excellent! Sign the pledge to show us that you’re already hard at work.

As a city dweller I don't even own a car, and depend mostly on public transportation, but when I'm not on the subway, i'm on my trusty bike! I pledge to ride it as much as possible, EVEN in the winter!

I rode my bike for a year and a half in RI winters/summers/ to work/ on errands, even to bring home another thrift store bike (that was fun, biking holding another bike) Don't do it as much, now that I have a car, but I pledge to bike more, since I love it so much and it is great for me, my dog and the environment!!!
